Growing In Faith Together

What the GIFT program means to me.  I truly believe we need a bigger better building, (the BBB).  We need a bigger church building as our congregation continues to grow.  We need to provide a facility large enough to seat many individuals comfortably.  We are comfort driven society .. and if we can't provide that to our community .. they will find it somewhere else.  We need a better church building to meet the various disabilities of the community.  Not to mention that people are living longer .. and therefore need provisions made for them to continue to sit in a church.  Things such as elevators, lifts, better wheelchair accessibility.  Each Sunday School class should have enough room to accommodate for a growth.  I'm a firm believer in the saying ... if you fail to plan .. you plan to fail.  Not too many "great" things have ever been accomplished without some kind of a sacrifice.  We will all need to give more, financially, faithfully if we want to realize this dream.  I hope and pray that we will.  In the big scheme of sacrificing .. how much of a sacrifice are we really making?  Perhaps by slowing down and buying less we will actually spend more and better quality time with our families.  By sacrificing financially to pay for our building it could actually be a win/win situation for each family and church....................Joan Kuberski

The GIFT program is an organized approach to request pledges and raise funds for church building construction.  It is a vehicle that creates opportunity for the local church member to participate in spreading the gospel in his/her community.............................Marv Stapleton

The GIFT Program means to me that we will grow so that we will better reach our community for Christ.  It isn't just having a larger auditorium, it's bringing in more people to hear the word of salvation.  We have many ministries in our church and I pray that they will continue to grow.  These ministries will grow as long as we continue to grow in faith.    Our sacrificial giving to the GIFT Program is our giving to the Lord in faith and love........Glenda Stubblefield

I have been going to Grace Baptist Church since a little before July 30th of 1995. I believe it was week of Vacation Bible School of ‘95. (6 years ago) Way back then I thought this was a good size church. Then after a couple months passed, then a couple years passed and after I seen some concerts and BIG special holidays, on those days we have to fit like 200 extra people into the church. I thought to myself, now we need a bigger church soon. Another reason why I agree with the GIFT Program is because of the amount of stairs that is in the church. We need an elevator for the older people, people in wheelchairs/disabled and asthma etc......... I know some people don’t want a new building but everything changes in life. .................Chris Markovich

The gift program to me.
One of the most important things with the gift program is obedience to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He died for our sins and this is a way we can show our love to Him.

It is a chance to come together as a Body of Christ to serve and reach out to others and show our love to them through His church.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.  In other words, Jesus Christ died for our sins and those who repent and confess Jesus as LORD and Savior will have eternal life.  Through the building program we can continue to reach the lost and teach them the TRUTH about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.......Eric Warnhoff

I am a member from Grace Baptist church. I have been a member for about a year or so. I came to this church because I think we have wonderful people at Grace who cares about other people. I thought Grace was a big church, but we are putting more and more people at our church. We need a bigger church so that more people can come and hear the word of God by Brother John. Brother John does a lot for our church. We should help him out by helping him bring more people into the church. If we bring more people into the church we are going to need more room. I believe God has a plan for us as a church. We need things like lifts and etc. for people with disabilities. I hope that we can bring more youths into our church. If we get the youths in our church to go and witness to other teens, I think we would have a lot more people in our church. I am looking forward to the one day that I can go to church and see a whole new church at Grace. We should bring joy to God by building him a new home. I can't wait to see the new church. ............Becky Hostmeyer
